The Short Version
Wordiculture is made by Raydoll LLC (Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA). We collect the minimum a daily word game needs: your puzzles, your scores, and (only if you choose) an email address. We don’t run analytics trackers, we don’t log your IP address, we never sell your data, and ads load only if you say yes to them.
Questions or requests any time: raydoll.llc@gmail.com. Effective date: July 3, 2026.

What We Collect
Your account. Playing creates an anonymous account automatically, with no email needed. If you link an email (to keep your garden across devices or sign in on a new one), we store it with your account. Your public name is a picked emoji plus a short code (like “🌻 ABC”), never your real name.
Your gameplay. Finished boards, words played, scores, streaks, and the move log of each puzzle (kept for a while to keep leaderboards fair; see Retention). To power playstyle badges we also record how each finished puzzle was played: move counts, time actively playing, and your device’s timezone with the local hour you finished (that’s how “Night Owl” knows).
Your community. Friendships, club memberships, and anything you type into the feedback form. Please don't put personal details in feedback text.
Purchases. If you buy Premium, Stripe processes the payment. We never see your card number. We keep a minimal record (Stripe's reference ids and timestamps) to honor your unlock and handle refunds.
What we deliberately don't collect: no IP address logs, no advertising identifiers without consent, no analytics or tracking scripts, no precise location, no contacts.

Where It Lives & Who Touches It
Your data is stored with Supabase (our database and sign-in provider) in the East US (Ohio), USA region, and the app is served by Netlify. Payments go through Stripe, which receives your email and payment details under its own privacy policy. Page fonts are served by Adobe Fonts. If you allow ads on the free tier, Google AdSense loads and may use cookies, and if you decline (or go Premium), not a single ad byte loads. That's the whole list; nobody else gets your data, and we never sell it.

How Long We Keep Things
Your garden (puzzles, scores, words, badges) stays as long as your account does. Some things expire on their own:
- per-move puzzle logs (anti-cheat evidence) are pruned about 6 months after you finish a puzzle
- abandoned unfinished replays and challenges are cleared after about a month
- anonymous accounts that never played a puzzle are deleted after about 90 days
- payment-processing bookkeeping and moderation logs age out on fixed schedules

Your Controls
Download. Get a copy of everything (JSON) any time from Contact → Download My Data.
Delete. Delete your account yourself from the same page. It's immediate and removes everything tied to you here, including your leaderboard rows and your customer record at Stripe. Stripe retains the payment records that financial rules require; those are the only trace that remains.
Consent. Change your ad choice any time (“Ad choices” on the home page). The newsletter is strictly opt-in and every email includes an unsubscribe.

The Fine Print
Wordiculture is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll say so here and update the effective date. Continued play after a change means the new version applies.
